From a regional consumer brand to a verifiable North American track record.
Vancouver retail placement, consumer feedback and an investor-ready report for a regional specialty consumer brand from China.

A China-based regional specialty consumer brand had built a stable domestic distribution base and was preparing a new round of conversations with investors, regional distributors and e-commerce partners. Before fundraising and channel expansion, the client wanted a real, verifiable, presentable record of overseas activity in Canada to lift their international image and sharpen their negotiating position.
The brand had a mature product and strong regional recognition at home, but its overseas footprint was effectively zero: no English website, no standardised English product material, no narrative built for North American consumers, and no record of any overseas channel, retail placement or consumer feedback. With investor roadshows and distributor meetings only weeks away, there was no time for a traditional import, warehousing and retail rollout. The goal was not large-scale sales — it was a credible chain of overseas evidence built within a tight window.
YF Consulting designed and executed a North American showcase program built around four objectives — display, feedback, amplification, reporting. We rewrote the English brand narrative, turning a domestic-flavoured product story into a health, place-of-origin and lifestyle pitch North American consumers could grasp; built an English brand site covering story, product range, origin, partnership entry points and basic media kit; arranged short-term product display and content shoots with two specialty Vancouver retailers; ran two small consumer tasting events — one with overseas Chinese families, one with local English-speaking consumers; collaborated with three local lifestyle and food creators on unboxing, tasting and experience content; and packaged everything into a bilingual project report for investor roadshows, distributor meetings and domestic brand communications.
- — Product display and shoot records completed at two specialty Vancouver retailers
- — 47 archived consumer feedback responses covering taste, packaging, price acceptance and purchase occasion
- — Three KOL content collaborations published, with secondary distribution assets organised
- — A bilingual brand showcase pack delivered
- — End-to-end delivery — English site, retail display, consumer feedback, investor report — completed in 11 weeks
- — Outputs reused in subsequent distributor meetings, fundraising conversations and domestic brand storytelling
